Capps has the capability to manufacture most component parts and tooling for any assembly in house. This includes tool design, CNC programming, heat treating, stretch formed skins, stretch formed shapes, hydro formed parts, brake formed parts, punch press stamping, forming and 3-Axis & 5-Axis machined parts. Capps also has a coordinate-measuring machine for part verification and reverse engineering.
The extrusion and skin stretch presses at Capps can exert as much as 880 tons of pressure and are capable of stretching material ranging in width from less than 12 to over 150 inches with a maximum length between jaws of over 20 feet.
